Plants Vs. Zombies Vs. DSiWare In This Week's Nintendo Download

By Dr. Eleanor Vance | Published on January 01, 0001

Spring is right around the corner, a time when the sun is shining, the flowers blooming, and the undead hordes are hungry for your brains. What perfect timing for the DSiWare version of Plants Vs. Zombies. It’s a rather light week for the Nintendo Download, both literally and figuratively. WiiWare only scores one new release – the light-based puzzler aptly named Liight – with a demo version of Digital Leisure’s Mix Superstar rounding out the console-based offerings this week.(new Image()).src = 'https://capi.connatix.com/tr/si?token=995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c&cid=872d12ce-453b-4870-845f-955919887e1b'; cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "995c4c7d-194f-4077-b0a0-7ad466eb737c" }).render("79703296e5134c75a2db6e1b64762017"); }); DSiWare is jumping, however, with the release of PopCap’s popular defense game Plants Vs. Zombies making its downloadable debut on the handheld. The downloadable version looks pretty similar to the DS version available at retail, only without multiplayer or the $19.99 price tag. Also on DSiWare this week, a Mahjong title and Agetec’s puzzle platformer Rabi Laby, which is about a young girl and her rabbit companion and has nothing to do with a Rabid Labia, though that’s what I see every time I look at the title. The words, not an actual Rabid Labia. I’ll just shut up now.
